We so social

Sunday, May 2nd, 2010

If you’re like us, you LOVE Bojangles’ fried chicken. You ALSO love social networking. We REALLY wish we could combine those two over the interwebs, but we can’t. However, we CAN make ConchTees.com more social. So we did! We upgraded to the latest and greatest Facebook Graph API (oooh sounds like wizardry, doesn’t it??) and made our funny little t-shirt site into an integral part of the social web. Now you can see what your friends like, share our shirts with a single click, and leave comments about our goods! (Btw, if you love our goods, you’re gonna LOVE our nuts. Slap chop!) Check it out. Be our friends. (We need them…we spend way too much at the computer to make any real-life ones.)

1up Yours, Evan!

Saturday, April 10th, 2010

Evan at iwearyourshirt.com also wore one of our shirts this year. He got the super popular 1up Yours shirt and had a blast with it. Watch him tell his neighbors, “Up yours!” Also, get 30% off all Conch Tees merchandise with the discount code UPYOURS for “Forever” (minus a few days or so.)  Oh, and don’t make him feel too bad for mispronouncing our name. Apparently a lot of people say “conTCH” instead of “conK.” Who knew?

Awkward Turtlers unite!

Friday, March 12th, 2010

Check out Esther, Liv, and Sam sporting their new Awkward Turtle t-shirts that they won from AwkwardTurtle.me! All they had to do was publicly confess to an awkward turtle moment of theirs, ever-so-slightly humiliating themselves in front of strangers. But hey, it was worth it! They got free t-shirts! You could win one too by visiting AwkwardTurtle.me and submitting your story. Then invite your friends to vote. Congrats, ladies! And thanks for the photo!

Our friends at IWearYourShirt.com picked our very own co-owner Alan Seales as the winner of their daily contest. His prize? An interview on JobRadio.fm! Jason and Evan picked Alan as the person with the most interesting job from their blog comments. Look at that! It really DOES pay to work! Catch the full interview on JobRadio.fm’s Interview with an Entrepreneur: Conchtees.com.

Ramble Redhead interview

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009

Hey hey, our very own Angela was recently interviewed on the Ramble Redhead podcast. Ramble has been a huge supporter of our Two Dads line of products. Thanks for the airtime, Ramble! Head over there and check out the full podcast for a behind-the-scenes snapshot of our budding company.

On this episode of Ramble Redhead, I talk with Angela who is from Conch Tees. They sell amazing tshirts, tote bags and stickers and I found them on Facebook. Two of the best selling tshirts are the Two Dads (or Two Moms) are better than none. They have a variety of other great shirts as well just like the Awkward Turtle you can see here worn by my guest Angela. They were very supportive of my show by donating shirts to be given away on my 300th episode as well and future episodes as well.

Listen to Ramble Redhead’s podcast.

I Wear Your Conch Tees Shirt

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

Dunno if you’ve heard about this guy or not, but you might want to check out iwearyourshirt.com. He came up with a clever way to make some money this year by wearing a sponsored shirt every day of the year. We got a previously taken, now recently open spot (until it was taken by us) on April 29. So, next Wednesday, iwearyourshirt.com is all about Conch Tees! Huzzah! This will be an interesting test of an innovative marketing idea.

Pigtoria’s Secret Oink

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Pigs have lots of nipples. I’m not sure what else to say to promote our newest design. It’s a little disturbing, but I can’t seem to look away. If you’re curious as to what I’m talking about, check out Pigtoria’s Secret Oink on our voting page. It’s geared toward women, sort of, but if you like, we’ll print some men’s styles too, probably on a red shirt instead of pink. I’d love to see someone wearing this. Please go vote.
